What's proposed is slightly different: they're not proposing to change Mageia, but for Mageia representatives to join their workgroup for a foundation (and the said foundation afterwise). So it's more a matter of staying apart from their project with a clear rationale, than changing Mageia at all: - if we were to join their foundation, that probably wouldn't change at all Mageia governance; only weaken its mission and blur the line, because merging its participation into a separate, parent entity; - if we were not to deal with their plan here, this would print Mageia difference some more (because we'll need to explain we wouldn't join them).
